I just wanted to lose weight and feel good about myself again. I wanted many things to go better in my life, but I kept running into roadblocks that were holding me back. Finally, something good in the way of going to see a chiropractor in Concord happened and that helped me quite a bit. In my bid to try to better myself, I injured my back. As most people know, a lot of back pain can keep you from doing many things that you want to do. Even getting a good night’s sleep, getting out of bed or sitting in a chair all day for work can be hindered by extreme pain.
To start, I have to share the fact that I gained a lot of weight over the years. I have to be even more honest and explain that it happened because I was lazy. I do not like working out. I would scream that at the top of my lungs when I am at the gym, if it were possible. Everyone else seems to love it. People at the gym smile, talk to one another and have conversations with one another while sweating quite easily. I can barely breathe when I am working up a sweat. Everything about it makes me unhappy. I even refuse to shower in the gym’s shower room. Instead, I rush out of there as quickly as possible so that I can get back home to shower and then sit down to relax for awhile.
Even though I do not like exercise, I felt that I was not doing well in life because of all the weight I gained. I feared having a heart attack or dying in some other way. So, I pushed myself hard enough to lose 75 pounds. But by the time I reached that amount of weight loss, my back went out for about a month. So, I went to a chiropractor, and it only took him a few weeks to get everything feeling good again. This allowed me to work out again.
